Researchers from the CATRE Laboratory, together with King Prajadhipok’s Institute, visited the Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping (ERDI-CMU) to explore integrated waste management and renewable energy systems.
This site visit was part of a broader effort to bridge academic research with public policy, focusing on urban waste management and the promotion of clean energy from local resources. The delegation received a briefing on innovative biomass management systems, compressed biogas (CBG) production technologies, and energy solutions that contribute to sustainable community development.
The activity marked an important step in strengthening collaboration between researchers, local authorities, and policy institutions, aiming to improve quality of life and promote long-term urban sustainability.
