Thailand CCUS Alliance visit at KMUTNB

On Thursday, November 4, 2025, the Thailand CCUS Alliance (TCCA) organized a research laboratory visit on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.

The visit focused on knowledge exchange and the collection of Technology Readiness Level (TRL) data to support the development of a national CCUS technology database, a key step toward advancing Thailand’s Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions target. The activity also strengthened collaboration among academia, industry, and government sectors, enhancing the country’s capacity to develop and implement CCUS technologies in line with international standards.

Participants visited the Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Laboratory (CATRE), led by Prof. Unalome Wetwatana Hartley, where advanced research on CO₂ conversion to higher alcohols and syngas using catalytic membrane reactors was presented.
