SETA 2022, Solar+Storage Asia 2022, and Enlit Asia 2022 on September 20-22, 2022 at BITEC Convention and Exhibition Center, Bangna

CATRE Laboratory has participated in SETA 2022, Solar+Storage Asia 2022, and Enlit Asia 2022 on September 20-22, 2022 at BITEC Convention and Exhibition Center, Bangna international trade shows on behalf of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) during September 20–22, 2022, at the BITEC Convention and Exhibition Center, Bangna, Halls 100–104, under the topic “Accelerating ASEAN Energy Transition to Achieve Carbon Neutrality” to present the work “A catalyst synthesized from metal oxide industrial waste for use in co-firing furnaces” with the objective of reducing the amount of coal fuel and increasing the amount of biomass fuel. The advantage of using catalysts in industrial furnaces is cleaner energy, reduce industrial waste, reduce the frequency of steam input into the furnace and do not waste time drying biomass fuel to remove moisture. All of which is to increase the efficiency of the furnace as a whole. The challenges of this work include pelletizing the fuel so it burns quickly, designing the contact between the catalyst and fuel, and how the biomass is fed (and burned), as well as the carbon fix that will be obtained if coal is used as fuel. The research team would like to thank SCG and Siam Kraft Industry. For full PhD scholarships, fuel samples, furnace prototypes, and data
